The Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) was established in 1994  and it became an official association (under Dutch law) in 2004.
Pharmaceutical Care is the pharmacist's contribution to the care of individuals, in order to optimize medicines use and improve health outcomes.

Description

For the past decades the asthma morbidity is rising globally and, according to WHO, it is the most common chronic disease in childhood. Despite the progress in the diagnostics and the treatment of bronchial asthma in recent years, for many patients in the world the control over the disease is unsatisfying. The mission of the pharmacist to improve the public health includes supporting the effective treatment, improving the health status and the quality of life of the patient.
