The Pharmaceutical Care Network Europe (PCNE) was established in 1994 and it became an official association (under Dutch law) in 2004.
Pharmaceutical Care is the pharmacist's contribution to the care of individuals, in order to optimize medicines use and improve health outcomes.
After the succesful conference in Bled in 2017 and the wonderful symposium in Fuengirola in 2018, the upcoming conference in Egmond aan zee (6-9 february 2019) is the most visited PCNE conference ever, with 118 registrants. Of course this puts extra stress on the organisation and also on the workhops. Three workshops had to be closed for further registrations.
Eight registrants are partners of the congress visitors, and undoubtedly they will explore the village Egmond and above all, Amsterdam.
About a week before the conference, all registrants will receive an extra confirmation mail with additional information about the conference, the venue and the travel options from Schiphol to the conference venue, Hotel Zuiderduin in Egmond aan Zee. One the first day of the conference, in the morning at 11.00h, three working groups also will have meetings (Drug-related problems, Medication Review and Guidelines and indicators).
Certificates of participation or poster presentation will be distributed after the conference by email for those who attended.
