The 2011 PCNE General Assembly

The 2011 Assembly of PCNE was held at the Trinity College in Dublin, on the 22nd of October. During this assembly, we welcomed one new member, the Farmaceutska Komora (Pharmacist chamber) of Bosnia & Herzegowina, represented by Emina Obarcanin. Furthermore it was decided that another round of the European BPCS study would be held, coordinated by Prof.McElnay from Belfast. It was also decided that another Symposium on Medication Review would be held in Leuven, Belgium, by the end of May 2012.

To enable an easier organisation of Working Conferences in the future, Mara Guerreiro and Filipa Alves da Costa stepped down as boardmembers. The term of Tommy Westerlund had officially come to an end. Newly elected boardmembers are Kurt Hersberger (Switzerland), Nina Griese (Germany), Veerle Foulon (Belgium) and Charlotte Rossing (Denmark).
PCNE members expressed their appreciation for the move of Filipa and Mara, who voluntairely stepped down to enable future changes in roles in the board.
