Agreement between European Centres and Pharmaceutical Organisations about joining a European Network on research and programme development of pharmaceutical care. The main goal for PCNE is to develop pharmacy along the lines of pharmaceutical care in the involved countries through establishment and accomplishment of projects.

A collaboration between research and pharmaceutical organisations in different European countries is established. The conditions for participation in this collaboration are as follows:

Interest in and willingness to participate in projects on pharmaceutical care within the defined frames.

Willingness to participate actively in making the project descriptions, applications and project plans and to accomplish projects or, possibly, be able to make qualified persons available on a national level to this work.

Each research centre itself or each organisation finds money for trips to meetings in PCNE and meetings concerning the planning in project groups.

The chairmanship for PCNE changes between the countries. Each country (organisation or centre) must be willing to accept this task for two years.
