- Tuesday 29 May 18.00-22.00: PCNE Social event, sponsered by BAF, Brabants Apotheker Forum and APB, Algemene Pharmaceutische Bond. A culinairy or beer walk through Leuven. Co-payment 30 Euro. If you are attending the Medication Review Symposium, please register on the form for that symposium.

- Wednesday 30 May 2012 8.00-13.00h: PCNE association, General Assembly. Applicants for membership will present their work, and the upcoming Working Conference will be discussed. PCNE Members have received an invitation and agenda by email. Documents for this meeting can be found in the members-only section of this site.

Accomodation?We have not assigned an official conference hotel, but the Park Inn would be a good choice near the station. If you register for any of the events in Leuven, you will receive a confirmation-mail with additional information about reduced rates for the Park Inn. If you want something different, in Leuven, you can choose from 18 other hotels (see http://www.leuven.be/en/tourism/staying-over/hotels/) and a number of bed&breakfast addresses (http://www.leuven.be/en/tourism/staying-over/bed-and-breakfast/). Of course you can also use more general sites like http://www.booking.com. How to reach the conference venue?All meetings will be organized at the University Hospital, Campus Gasthuisberg. This campus is within 20 minutes walking distance from the city center. The hospital can also easily reached by bus (from the railway station as well as from the city center). |

22 October 2011 PCNE General Assembly
The last General Assembly of PCNE was held at the Trinity College in Dublin, on the 22nd of October 2011, During this assembly, we welcomed one new member, the Farmaceutska Komora (Pharmacist chamber) of Bosnia & Herzegowina, represented by Emina Obarcanin. Furthermore it was decided that another round of the European BPCS study would be held, coordinated by Prof.McElnay from Belfast. It was also decided that another Symposium on Medication Review would be held in Leuven, Belgium, by the end of May 2012.
To enable an easier organisation of Working Conferences in the future, Mara Guerreiro and Filipa Alves da Costa stepped down as boardmembers. The term of Tommy Westerlund had officially come to an end. Newly elected boardmembers are Kurt Hersberger (Switzerland), Nina Griese (Germany), Veerle Foulon (Belgium) and Charlotte Rossing (Denmark).
PCNE members expressed their appreciation for the move of Filipa and Mara, who voluntairely stepped down to enable future changes in roles in the board.

Forum moved
Due to the large amounts of false registrations and spam messages by hackers, the PCNE forum has been moved and updated. New content about pharmaceutical care related conferences is continuously being added. Registration for the forum will now only be available to PCNE members, through an application to the secretariat.
